For more than 30 years, the Assocaition pour la santé publique du Québec (ASPQ) has offered a leaflet on rights during pregnancy and childbirth. It was designed and revised thanks to the contribution of several organizations such as the Regroupement Naissances respectées. Thanks to support from the MSSS, in collaboration with the Movement for Autonomy in Childhood and the Regroupement Naissancesrespectes, the ASPQ now has the opportunity to expand its content and adapt it to different realities.
This project will conclude in spring 2024 with the launch of a bilingual general public web platform, including popularized and accessible information on the rights of people during the perinatal period as well as resources related to these.
The microsite is intended to be a tool to open a dialogue between the pregnant person and the professional staff (and other people) they will meet during the perinatal period.
